Why it exists

Subscriptions are easy to start and easy to forget. SubBuddy exists so you can see every recurring charge you have, know what each one costs you over a year, and get warned before the next one lands — without handing a bank login to anyone.

Why I built it

Like many of you, I found myself paying for services I rarely used. A streaming service here and a software tool there soon add up. Managing these subscriptions manually was a hassle, and the existing tools were either too expensive, too complex, or demanded full access to my bank account.

So I built the thing I wanted: no hidden fees, no data sold on, no mandatory bank linking. You type in what you pay, or import it, and SubBuddy warns you before it renews.
