SubBuddy has been rebuilt around one question: what is about to charge you? Your dashboard now opens on this month's spend, how much budget is left, and the subscriptions waiting on a decision, with every upcoming charge listed by service and amount. The calendar, analytics and settings pages were redesigned too, dark mode now covers the whole site instead of only the dashboard, and the homepage and Chrome extension have been rebuilt to match.

• A new dashboard: Your overview now leads with the money, this month's spend, how much of your budget is left, and the subscriptions that need a decision, instead of burying all of it under the list.
• The month ahead at a glance: A strip of the charges actually coming this month, in order, each one showing the service and what it will cost.
• A clearer calendar: Every day shows which services charge and how much, the header tells you what the month adds up to, moving between months works properly, and the whole page is comfortable on a phone.
• Better spending analytics: Your spending trend is now a readable line chart, you can switch between 6 months, this year, or all time, and you can export your numbers to a spreadsheet.
• Easier settings: Seven clearly named sections with their own menu, instead of three crowded tabs, so account, reminders, billing and the rest are always one click away.
• Dark mode everywhere: Dark mode now covers the entire site, homepage, blog, tools, pricing and sign-in included, not just the dashboard. Pick Light or Dark and SubBuddy remembers.
• A new homepage: Add up what you pay right on the homepage without signing up, and nothing you type leaves your browser. Whatever you enter carries straight into your account when you create one.
• Refreshed Chrome extension: The extension now looks like the rest of SubBuddy, with Light and Dark themes, and the inbox scan review follows the theme you picked.
• Easier to read: Dates, totals and small print across the app are properly legible now, mobile navigation was fixed, and subscription categories are translated in Spanish.

This update helps you catch unwanted charges before they happen and gives you the cancellation link and the steps. A new action alerts section highlights expiring trials, price hikes, and upcoming renewals right on your dashboard. When you are ready to cancel, our step-by-step cancellation guide gives you direct links and tips to avoid confusing retention screens. We have also added true annual cost calculations and expanded our service directory to 36 popular subscriptions.

• Smoother and faster: Redesigned menus and popups make SubBuddy faster, easier to use on phones, and smoother to navigate.

This release attacks the empty-dashboard problem and closes the price-hike loop: the Chrome extension can now scan your recent Gmail for subscriptions privately in your browser, works on Outlook and Yahoo, and captures receipts from any page. Subscriptions can be organized into groups, and price increases are surfaced everywhere.

• The Chrome extension can scan the last 90 days of Gmail for subscription receipts, parsed entirely in your browser, with a review list to confirm, edit, or dismiss each detection. Free users can scan too, up to their plan limit.
• The Add to SubBuddy button now also works in Outlook Web and Yahoo Mail, using the same local parser as Gmail.
• Select receipt text on any page and use right-click, Add selection to SubBuddy, to capture it as a detected subscription.
• The extension icon now shows how many detected subscriptions are waiting for review, and the popup lets you add or dismiss them in one tap.
• Subscriptions can be organized into free-form groups such as Streaming or Household bills, with a grouped view and per-group monthly totals on the web and group support on Android and iOS.
• Price increases are now tracked proactively: an upward edit shows the percentage change, recent hikes appear in the dashboard alerts, and the monthly recap email lists the month's increases.

This release makes SubBuddy more useful after setup: free users now get a limited next-renewal email, paid users get earlier annual warnings, recaps summarize monthly spend, and the dashboard shows how much canceled subscriptions have saved.

• Renewal emails now support a free-plan 1-3 day reminder for the nearest renewal or trial, while paid plans keep custom schedules and broader coverage.
• A monthly spend recap email can summarize spending, changes, upcoming renewals, and cancellation wins.
• The dashboard now shows a cumulative Saved with SubBuddy total based on canceled subscriptions.
• Inactive users with upcoming renewals can get a stale-data check-in so reminders stay accurate.
• Android and iOS now share the recap setting, saved counter, and app activity tracking needed for the new reminder emails.
• Dashboard, Chrome extension, and Android metadata are now aligned on version 1.4.5.
