M Plan replaced the Token Plan: Go, Explore and Build at $22, $55 and $132 a month, the same prices as the Plus, Max and Ultra tiers they map to. Existing Token Plan subscribers can keep renewing the old plan.

By September 2026 the Token Plan had risen about 10%: Plus from $20 to $22, Max from $50 to $55 and Ultra from $120 to $132 a month.

The Coding Plan was renamed Token Plan, counted in requests rather than prompts, with Plus, Max and Ultra tiers.

MiniMax launched its Coding Plan. In China it started at ¥29 a month (¥9.9 for the first month), with Plus at ¥49 and Max at ¥119; by February 2026 the international tiers were $10, $20 and $50.
How to cancel MiniMax M Plan
- 1Sign in to the MiniMax platform console and open Plan Details.
- 2Choose Manage subscription, turn off automatic renewal and confirm.
- 3The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for; payments already made are not refunded.
- 4Check which key each tool uses: requests sent with the pay-as-you-go API key bill your account balance whether or not you have a plan.
On the China site, automatic renewal cannot be switched back on once you turn it off; to keep the plan you have to buy it again. The international site lets you re-enable it before expiry.

The half-price first month renews at the full price automatically. Tiers are sold as multiples of Go rather than request counts, and the multiplier depends on where you buy: Build is 12 times Go in China but 7.5 times internationally. Usage runs in a five-hour window for everything except video and a seven-day window for all models, both starting at first use, and nothing carries over. The Subscription Key and the pay-as-you-go API key are separate, so a tool set up with the wrong one bills your account balance. You can upgrade but not downgrade.
Free trial policy
No free trial of the plan. Monthly plans had a half-price first month until 31 October 2026 ($11 for Go), renewing automatically at the full price. MiniMax Code has a free tier, but it gives no API key for other tools.

Token Plan tiers map to M Plan at the same price (Plus to Go, Max to Explore, Ultra to Build). Old subscribers can keep renewing the Token Plan, but lose its legacy perks if they upgrade.
Why was my MiniMax account balance charged when I have a plan?
Because the request went out with the pay-as-you-go API key, not the Subscription Key. Only the Subscription Key draws on the plan. Check the key in each tool's settings, and keep the pay-as-you-go key out of tools you meant to run on the subscription.
