- 2Turn off auto-renewal for the Coding Plan and confirm.
- 3Do it at least seven days before the next charge date: the renewal is deducted from seven days before the plan expires.
- 4In China, a renewal period that has not started can be refunded under Billing Center → 退订管理; BytePlus does not offer refunds.
Both editions take the renewal early, seven days before the plan expires, so cancelling on the renewal date is already too late for that cycle.

The key only works in coding tools: using it elsewhere can get the account suspended, and pointing a tool at the regular /api/v3 endpoint bills pay-as-you-go instead of the plan. The model list rotates often (Kimi K2.7 Code and MiniMax M3 are being retired), and the strongest models burn the allowance faster. BytePlus's offer terms let it permanently use your AI coding data to improve its models.
