How to cancel X Premium
- 1Open x.com in a web browser, click More in the left menu, then Premium and Manage your subscription (or Settings and privacy → Premium).
- 2Click Cancel subscription; web subscriptions are billed by Stripe and can only be cancelled on the web.
- 3Confirm the cancellation; the checkmark and other perks stay until the end of the paid period.
- 4Bought inside the iOS or Android app? Cancel it in App Store or Google Play subscriptions instead.
App-store subscriptions cost more (Premium is $11 a month on iOS against $8 on the web) and can only be cancelled through Apple or Google, not on x.com.

X gives no refunds and no proration, so an annual Premium+ is $395 paid up front and a cancelled month runs to its end. Premium+ went from $16 to $22 to $40 in fourteen months, and existing subscribers were moved to the new price at their next renewal rather than kept on the old one. The web price is the cheap one: Apple and Google add their cut, so the same Premium costs $11 a month in the iOS app against $8 at x.com. Cancelling removes the checkmark and stops creator payouts at the end of the paid period. SuperGrok ($30 a month) is a separate xAI subscription; Premium+ only raises your Grok limits inside X.

Does X Premium include Grok?
Yes, with limits. Premium includes Grok access inside X, and Premium+ gives the highest Grok limits available in the app, plus X Pro. SuperGrok is a separate $30-a-month subscription sold by xAI, so paying for Premium+ does not unlock it and cancelling X Premium does not stop a SuperGrok charge.
