All US tiers rose $2 a month: Fan $7.99 → $9.99, Mega Fan $11.99 → $13.99, Ultimate Fan $15.99 → $17.99 (new subscribers from February 2, existing from their first bill after March 4). Fan gained offline downloads on one device.

The free ad-supported on-demand tier ended on December 31, 2025; from January 2026 a paid plan is required to stream.
May 2024
Mega Fan rose from $9.99 to $11.99 and Ultimate Fan from $14.99 to $15.99, the first increase since 2019. Fan stayed at $7.99.

How to cancel Crunchyroll

1Log in on crunchyroll.com in a web browser (not the app), click your profile picture and choose Settings.
2Open Membership Info and click Cancel Subscription.
3Click 'No thanks, finish cancellation', then submit or skip the feedback screen.
4Check for the confirmation; Premium perks continue until the end of the paid period.

Signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PlayStation, Roku or YouTube? The cancel button will not appear on crunchyroll.com; cancel in that store instead.

What to know before you cancel

Since the free tier ended, a cancelled account can no longer stream anything: your queue and watch history remain, but you need a Premium plan to watch again. Crunchyroll does not refund unused time, so annual plans run to the end of the paid year. Downloads, Game Vault titles and Crunchyroll Manga stop working the day Premium lapses, and the Ultimate Fan swag bag needs 12 consecutive months, so cancelling resets the streak.
