How to cancel Spotify
- 1Go to spotify.com/account in a browser (not the app) and sign in.
- 2Under Manage your plan, click Change plan.
- 3Scroll to Cancel Spotify and select Cancel Premium.
- 4Confirm; Premium runs until the end of the billing period, then you drop to the free tier.
You can't cancel from the mobile app. If you pay through Apple, cancel in Apple's subscription settings.

Cancelling Premium doesn't delete anything, playlists, saved songs, and follows all survive on the free tier, just with ads and shuffle limits. Why can't I cancel Spotify from the iPhone app?
Spotify only handles plan changes on its website to avoid App Store fees. Go to spotify.com/account in any browser. If your subscription is actually billed by Apple (older subscriptions), cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
