Apple Fitness+ is the cheapest serious class library there is: $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year, unchanged since 2020, shared with up to six people at no extra cost. Peloton App One costs $15.99 a month or $159.99 a year, App+ $28.99 or $289.99, and the All-Access plan for Bike or Tread owners $49.99 a month. Peloton's price is buying the leaderboard, instructor-led equipment classes and the hardware experience; if you do not own the hardware, that premium is hard to justify.
Apple Fitness+ is cheaper by $80.00 a year on its entry plan.

Which one should you pick?
Choose Apple Fitness+ if…
Pick Apple Fitness+ if you have an iPhone and want guided workouts without hardware. Pay annually, it equals eight months of the monthly plan, and remember cancelling a free trial ends access immediately.
Choose Peloton if…
Pick Peloton if you own a Bike or Tread, or the instructors and live leaderboard are what keep you showing up. Use the three-month pause instead of cancelling during outdoor seasons or injuries.

How to run both without paying for both
Hardware owners need All-Access and nothing else; Fitness+ would be a duplicate. Everyone else should run the Fitness+ free month before paying Peloton App One, because the price gap is $80 a year on annual plans and $72 on monthly ones.
